We have a Parents Evening taking place following a KS3 Design timetable rotation. The parents evening was set up prior to the rotation, which took place this week and the staff attached to these new groups do not appear on the Outstanding Bookings page.

The staff would like to see the parents of the children they've taught until this week, not those they have seen perhaps once since the rotations took place.

My question is really regarding the set up of the parents evening: what date does Bromcom use to set up the class lists for this event? The date of the parents evening or the date when the event is created?

How do other schools set up the parents evenings in light of rotations?

We do not want to pre-populate with a mark in case a student is unwell on the day. It is just a comment that is needed.

We have changed some class codes in Nova-T and imported the TT to Bromcom, which has created new classes.

The studen memberships are still in the old class codes on Bromcom.

Should we delete the new classes in Bromcom, change the class codes of the current classes in Bromcom to match Nova-T, and then do another import?

This means the return is ready for LAs and schools to begin their preparations for training and data submission (Modules > Census > Attendance).

Welsh Government released an updated summary specification on Wednesday, which we will implement in plenty of time for the secondary return. When we receive confirmation of whether a new validation file is required, we will being the necessary development work. Keep an eye on ‘What’s New’ for updates.
