Log into your Power BI Account to update the App to v.1050
The following updates have been made:
Academic Year Filter: A new filter allows you to select the academic year in both the Attendance Report and the Staff Report.
Ethnicity Breakdown: Attendance data is now broken down by ethnicity in the Attendance Report and MAT Performance Overview, offering deeper insights into attendance trends.
Updated National Data:Â
The Attendance Report now reflects the latest national data from the DfE API.
The EYFS Report has been updated to reflect the 2023/2024 academic year.
Leavers and Enrolments: The MAT Performance Overview now includes data on student leavers and new enrolments within an academic year.
Cohort Filter Options: The Attendance Report and MAT Performance Overview now offer cohort filter options for:
Age-weighted
All students
Statutory calculations
Formula Updates:
Primary Tracker Assessment: Adjusted calculation method for assessment results.
Staff Report: Updated formula for calculating total staff count.
Important: Post-Update Instructions for v.1050 Pack in Power BI Workspace
After updating to the latest version of Power BI, users must reconnect to the DfE API data source.
Step 1: In Power BI Workspace, locate the MAT Vision Analytics Semantic Model file and click the Settings option.
Step 2: In the Settings panel, find both instances of the web data source and click Edit Credentials for each.
Step 3: When prompted, simply click Sign In without modifying any parameters. The connection uses a public API.
Step 4: Repeat the same process for the second web data source listed.
